Legislative Wins Post-Session

April 27, 2026

The 2026 Georgia Legislative Session officially concluded on April 2, marking the end of a busy and impactful legislative session. Over the course of three months and 40 legislative days, the Georgia REALTORS® (GAR) Lobby Team worked diligently to advance policies that protect private property rights, promote homeownership, and support issues critical to REALTORS® and the clients they serve.

Thanks to these efforts, GAR successfully championed several key legislative priorities during the second year of the 2025–2026 session. These wins reflect a continued commitment to strengthening the real estate industry and ensuring a favorable business environment across the state.
