The May 2026 housing market across Franklin, Hart, and Stephens counties showed strong sales growth, with 108 homes sold and $39.8 million in sales volume. Compared to May 2025, sales volume increased 32.4%, and closed sales rose 27.1%.

Inventory remained elevated with 460 active listings, providing buyers with more options. While contract activity slowed to 86 homes under contract, the market continued to benefit from strong May sales activity and improved inventory compared to last year.
