May 2026 Market Snapshot
📍 Forsyth County: Sales remained just below last year but improved from April, while median and average sale prices continued to rise. Inventory expanded with more new and active listings, giving buyers additional options while homes continued to sell relatively quickly.
📍 Dawson County: Sales remained above last year's pace despite slowing from April. Inventory continued to grow, while median sale prices rebounded month-over-month but remained below May 2025 levels, reflecting a more balanced market.
📍 Lumpkin County: Sales improved from April but remained below last year. Home prices continued to strengthen, inventory increased, and homes spent less time on the market compared to the previous month, signaling steady buyer activity heading into summer.
