WHAT MEMBERSHIP MEANS
The Lake Country Board of REALTORS®, (LCBR) serves as a central source of information for our members. Our main areas of focus are real estate education, the promotion of professionalism in our industry and representing our REALTOR® members with legislative initiatives. We strive to create positive change for the real estate community. Throughout its history, the Lake Country Board has exerted its influence in civic affairs in a capacity of representing a substantial segment of the business community across the Lake Country community.
LCBR Membership provides a purpose, vision and mission in the promotion and protection of the real estate industry. It also provides a means for developing life-long affiliations, an outlet for community involvement and a means of defending the American dream of home ownership and private property rights. Members of the Lake Country Board of REALTORS® aim higher, gain more and make greater strides in both their business and personal endeavors.

ARE YOU REPRESENTING YOUR INDUSTRY AS A REALTOR®?
A real estate agent is a REALTOR® when he or she becomes a member of the National Association of REALTORS® - The Voice for Real Estate, the world's largest professional association. The term REALTOR® is a legally registered collective membership mark that identifies a real estate professional who is a member of the National Association of REALTORS® and subscribes to its strict Code of Ethics. When joining the Lake Country Board of REALTORS®, members automatically become a member of the Georgia Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®.
MEMBERSHIP TYPES & FEES
To join the Board and/or LCBR's MLS Service, you will need to pay the prorated amount of your membership fees and an application fee. Lake Country Board's, GAR's and NAR's fiscal cycles run on a calendar year, January 1 - December 31.
All applicants (except Affiliates) will pay a $165 application fee in addition to the annual fee listed below.
A Qualifying Broker application that includes setting up a new office with LCBR's MLS, will require a one-time Company Registration Fee of $4,575 to be paid along with the Broker's individual membership fees.
Qualifying Broker REALTOR® Member with LCBR MLS Access

For an individual with an office to have access to LCBR's MLS, a Qualifying Broker from the Brokerage must first be a participant.
REALTORS® also hold membership with the Georgia Association of REALTORS® (GAR) and the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR).

Licensees that have a participating (MLS Only) Broker may join as an MLS Only member and subscribe to LCBR's MLS Paragon Service.

An Affiliate Associate is an individual employed with the same company as the Affiliate (above) who would also like to be a part of the Lake Country Board of REALTORS®.
